What is Man with a Pram?
Man with a Pram is a community movement encouraging dads, father figures, and families to connect through local walks, conversations, and shared experiences. It’s about creating visible, supportive communities around fatherhood, mental health, connection, and showing up for one another.
Who can participate in a Man with a Pram walk?
Everyone is welcome. While the movement is centred around dads and father figures, partners, kids, grandparents, friends, carers, and community members are all encouraged to join.
Do I need to have a pram to attend?
Not at all. You’re welcome whether you bring a pram, carrier, toddler, teenager, or simply yourself.
How do I join a walk?
You can browse current walks via the interactive walk map or walk listings page and choose a location near you.
How do I host my own walk?
Simply head to the “Register Your Walk” page and complete the registration form with your walk details. Once submitted, your walk location can be added to the live map and walk listings.
Can I host a private walk?
Yes. During registration you can choose whether your walk is:
- Public — open for others to attend
- Private — just for you, your family, or your own invited group
Is there a cost to participate?
No. Man with a Pram walks are free to attend and free to host.
How long does a walk need to be?
That’s completely up to you. Some walks may be 20 minutes around the neighbourhood, while others may turn into larger community gatherings. The goal is connection, not distance.
Can organisations or businesses get involved?
Absolutely. We welcome community groups, workplaces, councils, health organisations, and brands who align with the mission of supporting dads, families, and communities.

Can I register multiple walk locations?
Yes. If you’re coordinating multiple walks or community groups, you can register multiple locations.
Can I change or update my walk details after registering?
Yes. If you need to update your walk information, please contact the team through the Contact Us page.
Will there be merchandise available?
Yes. Man with a Pram merchandise is available through the Dads Group shop, with dedicated MWAP merchandise planned to expand over time.
